Knowledge base

Lety Agent's AI platform enables you to upload information about your business, products, services, offer etc. By adding in relevant information to the knowledge base, the AI agent’s ability to answer user questions is significantly improved.

You can copy/ paste text, upload documents, scrape website URLs and add question and answer pairs to train the AI agent on the information that will help provide context when generating a response for a user.

TEXT:

- This is text that you can manually copy and paste in from other sources.

FILES:

- Upload text based documents like .PDF .TXT .DOC & .DOCX

- Be sure that your PDF contains text and not a “picture of text”.

WEBSITE:

- Enter in a website URL that you want to pull all of the text from.

- Select the max number of website URLs that you want to scrape.

- When the URL is scraped all the text data will be pulled from the page and added into the knowledge base.

- Please note: More data is not always better! Sometimes website’s have a lot of random, unrelated text that has nothing to do with what a user might be asking about or be interested in. Making sure you add clean data to the knowledge base will ensure more accurate responses.

WEBSITE:

- Q/A refers to saving and managing knowledge content in a 'question and answer' format.

- Question & Answer pairs (Q/A) are the most powerful way to train the AI about information relevant to what a user might ask.

- Q/A pairs is also where all the updated questions and answers are held after user engage with the 'Training Chatbot' function.

Utilizing a Q&A format for your knowledge base offers several advantages due to its structured nature. It allows for more straightforward management and yields more precise responses in specific query situations. However, the structured format also means it's less adaptable than other types of data. If your knowledge base consists largely of question-and-answer content, like FAQs, prioritizing this format could be beneficial for efficiency and accuracy.
